Matisyahu: Reggae, Judaistic style

Has anybody seen Matisyahu? Lisa M just pointed me towards the him as he seems to be getting quite a lot of press on the Js.
At first I though it was just a gimmicky costume to get him more attention, but it turns out he’s rapping reggae to spread the word of Abraham, and has made it into mainstream music. Check out the video. He even crowd surfs!

I’m in half a mind as to whether I’d want to see him. There’s the factor of seeing something completely different, but the religious overtones combined with the probable mass of fans… i dunno.
