To Venice, to Venice

With my trip shortly coming to a close I thought it time to show you some shots of our trip to Venice.
I am totally in love with Venice. Yes, cliché I know, but there’s something about its laid back atmosphere that I haven’t experience elsewhere on the trip, though admittedly I have been staying in large cities.
Ren and I ate like elephants. Over our two night stay I think we managed to consume at least 4 bottles of wine, 5 pizzas, 3 types of bruschetta and 2 litres of olive oil. We stayed on the island of Lido, which turned out to be great as there were few tourists, a plethora of great restaurants and ferries from the main island 24 hours a day.
As is the story for so many places I’ve been, 2 nights just wasn’t enough and I could have happily stayed for the entire long weekend.

Great photos, but why ruin your post with a blurry shot of me?

You need multi-coloured ribbons and spokey dokes, though.

Wow… I have a very similar shot of that three faced mask. I don’t think they had the cool lighting when I shot it a few years ago.
